Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to work on-site in Fort Worth, TX. You will read shop prints and fabricate steel form parts using cutting equipment and welding per specifications in an industrial environment.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of steel fabrication experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read fractions and a tape measure. Overtime and safety training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
• Ability to read shop prints
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding with certification
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Experience with industrial steel tooling (band saw, drill press, grinders)
• Prior use of plasma cutter
• Prior use of fork trucks and rolling equipment
• Prior use of overhead bridge cranes
• Maintenance experience

Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication of steel form parts per shop prints
• Operate cutting equipment and assemble per specifications
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
