Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in North America is seeking a welder to fabricate, assemble and weld steel covers for concrete products, using MIG welding equipment and hand tools.

The role requires reading fractions and shop prints, following safety procedures, lifting up to 40 lbs, and delivering quality workmanship in a manufacturing environment. This is a non-exempt position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous welding or steel fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop prints.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and welding machine.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and weld steel covers for concrete products.
• Use MIG welding equipment and hand/power tools to meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accuracy and productivity throughout fabrication.
