Job summary

Ziegler CAT seeks a welder for our Buhl, MN location on 2nd shift to perform welding and fabrication of heavy construction and mining equipment. You will maintain welding equipment, document work orders, and follow safety policies while supporting repairs and preventative maintenance.

You should have a 2-year welding credential or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus skill in blueprints reading and using welding tools.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical college degree/certificate in welding or a high school diploma with 2 years of welding experience.
• Ability to operate spot, arc, plasma TIG, MIG welders and cutting torch.
• Ability to read dimensional blueprints and use gauging/measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and operate diagnostic systems.

• Maintain equipment adjustments and tooling, document work orders.
