Daifuku North America is hiring for a 2nd shift welder in Hobart, IN. You will join metal parts using high-heat welding to form permanent bonds on a full-time 2nd shift role, Monday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on precision and safety.

The position requires 3–5 years welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and an AWS D1.1 certification. Excellent manual dexterity and teamwork are essential for meeting production goals while maintaining quality.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certificate/degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years welding experience.
• AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification required.

Mansioni

• Operate welding machine and wire-feed to join metal parts.
• Plan work by interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Determine welding position and metal type to be fused.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for each job.
• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications.
• Follow Daifuku QMS policies and drive continuous improvement.
