Manitou Group in Yankton, South Dakota is seeking a dedicated welder for 2nd shift to safely perform welding, fabricate and repair heavy components per specifications and production schedules.

The role requires standing 8–10 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, basic weld certification, adherence to safety, and willingness to train or work outside scheduled hours; onsite with competitive pay and benefits.

Competenze

• Must acquire basic Weld Certification as minimum for weld positions.
• Read, understand and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions and procedures.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, with proper PPE and safety practices.

• Perform weld duties as specified by procedures and layouts.
• Weld components using approved equipment.
• Maintain safety and clean working environment according to procedures.
• Operate related tools and equipment as needed, including forklifts and grinders.
