Job summary

Nesco Resource in Ridgeway, SC, is seeking an Aluminum Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld, fabricate, and assemble aluminum components following blueprints and quality standards.

The role requires MIG or TIG experience, attention to detail, and safety-conscious work habits. Work is Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm with potential overtime, in a manufacturing environment. We offer a MEC benefits plan and equal opportunity employment.

Overview

Join Nesco Resource in Ridgeway, SC, as a dependable and detail-oriented Aluminum Welder. You will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team by welding, fabricating, and assembling aluminum components. Your work will adhere to company specifications, blueprints, and quality standards. We are looking for candidates who have welding experience, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum welding using MIG and/or TIG welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications.
• Weld and assemble aluminum parts to meet production requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and quality.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Meet production schedules while upholding quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production or quality issues.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in aluminum welding is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of MIG and/or TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and measurements.
• Familiarity with welding tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of production schedules and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and move materials as needed.
• Flexibility to bend, reach, and work in various positions.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to welding fumes, heat, noise, and other typical production conditions. Proper safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Potential for overtime each day, including weekends.
