Job summary

Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, is seeking a Wastewater Offal Operator for the 2nd shift in Perry, Georgia. You will operate and maintain wastewater and offal processing equipment to support safe, clean, and efficient production.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, high‑pressure cleaning, monitoring liquid levels, guiding loads, and coordinating with drivers to remove by-products. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 12:00am, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and

• Maintain and clean shakers and tumblers by spraying a high‑pressure hose (240 psi) on the shaker every 15 minutes and the tumbler once an hour.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and equipment lubrication by checking oil levels and belts as needed.
• Transfer blood onto tankers by taking a 6’ hose 4” in diameter and placing it into blood tank, open wheel valve and visually monitor levels.
• Cover loads prior to removal from work area.
• Notify drivers by phone when bi-product loads are full and need to be removed.
