Job summary

ReaderLink Distribution Service in Romeoville, IL is hosting a walk-in job fair for 2nd Shift General Warehouse Workers. Shift runs 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is $21.00 per hour. Applicants should be prepared to upload a resume and dress in workplace-appropriate attire.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, inbound/outbound shipments, and operating warehouse devices and systems. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; safety and accuracy are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 1-year general warehouse/material handler experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detail oriented.
• Proficiency with tablets, radios, scanners and basic warehouse tech.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse devices and systems to process shipments.
• Move product by hand or with pallet jack to/from production areas.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and organization in the distribution center.
• Support multiple workstations as production schedules require.
