Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring a Warehouse Equipment Operator in Romeoville, IL to support daily distribution operations. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, operating reach trucks, order pickers, EPJs, and sit-down forklifts, and helping with packing and shipping documentation.

The position offers a Monday–Friday 2:30 PM–10:30 PM schedule, with weekly pay and a clear path to permanent placement. Prior shipping/receiving experience and safe operation of equipment are required.

Qualifications

Previous shipping and receiving experience required.
1-3 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Experience operating powered industrial equipment.
RF scanners and WMS experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
Operate warehouse equipment including Reach Truck, Order Picker, EPJ, and Sit-Down Forklift.
Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment.
Pick and replenish inventory within warehouse locations.
Receive incoming products and verify counts and accuracy.
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory.
Print and apply shipping labels.
Inspect pallets, products and equipment for quality and safety.
Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and standards.
