Job summary

Eckart LLC is seeking a Wire Cutter to join the 2nd shift in Jacksonville, FL. You will oversee cutting wire and cable with machines, ensuring accurate lengths and proper bundles for job orders, and coordinate with installation teams to supply the right wires.

The role requires physical labor, good time management, and attention to safety. Eligible candidates will undergo pre-employment screening, with full-time hours Monday through Friday, no weekends.

• Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management.
• Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Wire and warehouse settings, strongly preferred.
• Must be organized and have excellent filing / record-keeping skills.
• Must be comfortable working in various plant level environments.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

WIRE CUTTER

HOURS:

2nd Shift: 10am - 7pm(Requires flexibility)

Are you an energetic and hardworking individual who enjoys fast paced behind the scenes work?

As the wire cutter operator, you oversee cutting wire and cable with the use of machines. As the cutting machine operator, your job is to ensure the accuracy of the cuts. You measure and bundle wires and cables appropriately for the job orders and then work with the installation teams to make sure they get the proper wires for assembly. Your duties as a wire cutter may also include unloading and loading materials, moving waste or materials to the proper locations, and verifying all the equipment is working properly.
