Job summary

Schaedler Yesco Distribution is seeking a warehouse associate to support wire cutting, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfillment. You will coordinate wire inventory, cut wire to order specs, and communicate with sales and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.

• Cut wire to match quantities and specifics on sales order/transfer.

• Keep wire cutting equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain wire area clean and orderly.
• Communicate with shipping on needs for special deliveries.
• Assist with all aspects of wire orders.
• Miscellaneous duties as needed.

Work Shift Hours: Sunday- Thursday 11 PM- until production is completed.

Primary Objective of Position: Ensure our customers and branches have their wire requests fulfilled in an agreed upon time frame. Coordinate the accuracy of our wire inventory. Perform other tasks in support of warehousing functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Cut wire to match quantities and specifics on sales order/transfer

• Keep wire cutting equipment in good working condition
• Maintain wire area clean and orderly
• Communicate with shipping on needs for special deliveries
• Communicate with writers when work tickets are processed
• Assist with all aspects or wire orders
• Miscellaneous duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently
• Good at both verbal and written communication
• Accurate and attention for detail
• Good hand, eye coordination
• Mechanically inclined
• Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Experience

Warehouse experience is required

Forklift experience is required
