Job summary

Eckart LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Driver/Picker in Corydon, IN. You will load, unload, sort and move products, drive company fleet vehicles, and ensure on-time deliveries while following safety rules.

We value dependable, detail-oriented team players who communicate well and can work in a family‑oriented environment. Full-time roles include benefits after 30 days and weekly day shifts, with no weekends unless optional projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Age to obtain drive-for-hire endorsement varies by state and insurance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Be appropriately dressed for the elements (PPE as required).
• Load, unload, sort and move products by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
• Operate, navigate and drive all company fleet vehicles in a safe, efficient manner following traffic laws.
• Plan delivery routes with coordination from the shipping supervisor to maximize efficiency while on the road.
• Plan routes to meet or exceed delivery deadlines.
• Read work orders or receive instructions for assignments.
• Participate in loading/unloading of company fleet trucks.
• Cut wire as needed.
• Perform standard Warehouse duties as assigned.
• Follow DOT policy on Load Securement and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be appropriately dressed for the elements (Wearing appropriate PPE as required)
• Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
• Operate, navigate and drive all company fleet vehicles in safe, efficient manner following the rules of the road set by government legislation
• Plan delivery routes, with co-ordination from the shipping supervisor, to maximize efficiency while on the road
• Plan routes in a manner to meet and/or exceed delivery deadlines
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments
• Participate in the loading and/or unloading of company fleet trucks
• Cut wire as needed
• Perform standard Warehouse duties as assigned
• Follow Department of Transportation policy and procedures regarding Load Securement, Transportation of Dangerous Goods and operation of a commercial vehicle
• Provide on the job training to new/junior drivers as required
• Provide information for the completion of incident reports in relation to health and safety issues
