Pennsylvania Steel Company in York, PA is seeking a full-time, permanent Order Puller to support our warehouse operations. The role involves handling various metals by hand or with equipment to fulfill work orders and packaging per customer specifications.

This position reports to the Branch Warehouse Manager and requires dependable, safety-minded individuals who can work on their feet and collaborate with a team. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as a forklift and overhead crane.
• Proficient with Windows-based software.
• Working knowledge of decimals and fractions.
• Proficient in measuring with tape measures and micrometers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work safely around machinery and moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform order pulling, material handling and packaging to fulfill work orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow safety and quality guidelines.
• Follow all quality measures as per branch instructions.
• Follow packaging instructions as specified by customers or supervisors.
