Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in our Garland, TX facility. You will move raw materials and finished goods, load shipments, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role offers a second shift from 10:00am to 6:30pm with a $0.50 hourly shift differential and eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Preferred candidates have 1+ year manufacturing or distribution experience and are able to monitor equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial material handling equipment including forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyors, etc.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform spill cleanup and rework procedures.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Comply with policies and standard operating procedures.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized daily.
