MGM Transformer Company seeks a Warehouse Team Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain a safe, productive environment. You will supervise staff, coordinate shipments, manage cycle counts, and coach the team to meet performance targets.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in warehousing (1–2 in leadership), and familiarity with WMS and MS Office.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with 1–2 years in leadership.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Assign tasks and provide directions to warehouse associates to meet operational goals.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor workflows and adjust as needed to support changing priorities or workloads.
• Lead, motivate, and train warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote skill development and accountability.
• Assist in scheduling work shifts and ensuring proper staffing levels.
• Support new employees onboarding and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular cycle counts and audits.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipping documentation.
• Ensure all products meet quality standards before shipment.
• Oversee proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety checks and report potential hazards promptly.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse regulations, company policies, and local laws.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement improved warehouse processes.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize operations and track performance metrics.
