Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II for the 2nd shift (12:30 PM–9:30 PM) with Tue/Wed off.

The role coordinates staff across ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping to keep product moving and customers satisfied. You will lead a team, coach and train staff, manage schedules and expenses, enforce attendance, and ensure equipment is used safely.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is preferred.
1 year supervisory or management experience.
2 years' warehouse experience.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record preferred.
PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of all products to meet customer needs.
Coach, train, hire and support staff; provide regular feedback and recognition; hold staff accountable.
Plan monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
Apply attendance policy to scheduled training events and regular work schedules.
Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and operating safely.
Support staff to meet deadlines and fill in when short-staffed.
