Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II to coordinate ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, displaying and shipping. You’ll also manage supplies, tools, equipment and parts in the warehouse and on the sales floor.

You’ll lead a team, coach and train staff, and ensure safety and efficiency while meeting customer needs. This role requires supervisory experience, warehouse know‑how, and flexibility for various shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year supervisory or management experience.
• 2 years’ warehouse experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record preferred.
• PC skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workload priorities and direct movement of products to meet customer needs.
• Coach, train, hire and support staff; provide regular feedback and recognition.
• Plan monthly staff meetings, control expenses/turnover and meet goals.
• Apply attendance policy to scheduled training events and shifts.
• Ensure machines/equipment are properly utilized and safe to operate.
• Perform duties of supervised staff to meet deadlines when short-staffed.
