Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Manager I, Distribution/Warehouse – Facility Supervisor for the 2nd shift sortation to ensure efficient, safe, and productive operations at the Martinsville DC. You will lead a team responsible for receiving, stocking, routing, and order fulfillment, while meeting KPI targets and coordinating with other departments.

The role emphasizes leadership, interviewing and training, cross-training, and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four-year degree in related field preferred (Business, Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain).
• Two years comparable leadership experience recommended; entry level supervisory experience noted.

Responsibilities

• Plans and prioritizes workflow for the shift to meet SLAs for safety, quality and productivity.
• Supports interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance of shift team members.
• Drives Lean process improvement and ensures cross-training for flexibility.
• Provides leadership to maximize employee performance and morale while driving change.
• Maintains timesheets, staffing schedules and shift reports to optimize operations.
