Job summary

Gildan is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring peak performance of facilities and equipment. You will evaluate equipment, coordinate repairs, and manage work orders in the CMMS while supervising a diverse team across shifts.

The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and collaboration with other departments to execute projects and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5–7 years industrial maintenance experience.
• 2–3 years supervision experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings; CAD experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with infrared scans, risk assessment, and lockout/tagout processes.
• SCADA exposure with Wonderware/FactoryTalk View a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a maintenance team across multiple shifts (including 12‑hour weekend shifts).
• Oversee 2nd and 3rd shift technicians and cover other shifts when needed.
• Conduct safety, environmental and operational training with the team; perform audits.
• Manage the CMMS system, develop PMs, assign work orders, and audit completed work.
• Coordinate with other departments to synchronize maintenance and safety requests.
• Collaborate with related roles on current or upcoming projects or maintenance activities.
