Job summary

Dawn Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Houston Dist. Center. This onsite leadership role oversees order selection, loading, and daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and safety practices.

You will manage staff, training, and performance, while maintaining productivity and quality standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years frontline supervision in warehousing, strong communication, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/admin/ops/logistics or related field preferred.
• 2+ years frontline warehouse ops experience or 1+ year in supervisory/lead role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment.
• Strong leadership, planning and organization skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills; able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations: order selection, loading, receiving, shipping, and returns.
• Manage staffing, training, mentoring, and performance of team members.
• Develop and implement SOPs; ensure proper equipment and documentation for shifts.
• Maintain Safety and Quality standards; enforce GMP and hygiene practices.
• Monitor productivity metrics and labor hours; manage budget adherence.
• Ensure facility security at shift end and promote a Stop Work safety culture.
