Job summary

Dawn Foods in Houston, TX, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee order selection, loading, and daily warehouse operations including freight, shipping and receiving, returns and transfers. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 1:00 pm - 10:30 pm, with weekends required based on business needs.

You will lead a hands-on team, develop SOPs, ensure safety and quality, monitor labor and productivity metrics, and collaborate with site leadership on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and WMS.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience leading frontline teams and driving improvements.
• SAP and Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of team in order selection, receiving, replenishment, loading, and warehouse functions.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and ensure proper equipment and documentation for shift tasks.
• Foster a safety and quality driven environment and support Stop Work culture when needed.
• Generate productivity reports and manage labor hours within budget.
• Support customer billing processes and review warehouse metrics for continuous improvement.
• Plan and implement warehouse safety, quality, and security programs with site leaders.
