Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a DC Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, and distribution of parts and accessories. The role requires managing schedules, space planning, and equipment maintenance to meet safety and efficiency targets.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in warehousing, an Associate Degree or equivalent experience, and may have bi-lingual skills. This on-site role includes leadership responsibilities and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years prior work experience in a warehouse related field.
• Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking and palletizing finished products.
• Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products, parts, and accessories to meet distribution objectives and customer requirements.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment and company vehicles in compliance with relevant laws, and enforces safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provides counseling as required.
• Coordinates work with warehouse and operations manager, telephone sales and other supervisors regarding shipments and cut-off times.
