Job summary

Westlake is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Brownsville, TX to lead daily warehouse operations, set performance expectations, and coach a shift team.

You will ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate with customer service and other departments, and maintain a safe and productive work environment.

This role offers opportunities for advancement in a growing manufacturing operation and requires strong leadership and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of supervisor or leadership experience.
• Experience with SAP, AX or other ERP systems.
• Strong supervisory, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Experience with warehouse and inventory management systems (WMS) and RF scanning.
• Willing to work 2nd shift (2pm-12am or 2:30pm-12:30am) Mon-Fri.
• Must reside in or near Brownsville, TN to commute daily to our facility.

Responsibilities

• Sets the tone and expectations for daily activities using strong leadership and shift leadership.
• Directs hiring, coaching, and scheduling of warehouse staff and ensures adherence to policies.
• Meets operational standards and contributes to strategic planning and continuous improvement.
• Moves inventory and coordinates transfers with related departments.
• Prevents stockouts by ordering consumables and managing inventory levels.
• Maintains organized storage and accurate inventory through counts and variance reconciliation.
• Ensures warehouse security, equipment upkeep, and safety procedures.
• Communicates job expectations and provides coaching; assigns workload and staffing.
