Job summary

Victaulic, a global leader in mechanical pipe-joining solutions, seeks a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to run the floor. You will supervise all warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities, plan schedules, coordinate freight, and lead a team to meet delivery requirements with safety and efficiency.

The role offers opportunities to coach staff, drive Lean/5S improvements, and ensure accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

3-5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise all warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities during assigned shifts.
Oversee inbound, outbound, and cross-dock operations to meet customer and branch delivery requirements.
Plan and manage shipping schedules, trailer flow, and dock capacity.
Coordinate domestic and export freight routing and manage carrier relationships.
Oversee yard operations to ensure safety, organization, and efficient trailer movement.
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates - assigning daily work and balancing labor to workload.
Train new hires and reinforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Partner with management and HR on performance management and corrective actions.
