Empire Today is seeking a Warehouse 2nd Shift Supervisor for our Northlake, IL Distribution Center. You will directly supervise hourly warehouse staff and support leads in daily loadout operations, while ensuring safety and efficiency across tasks from loadout prep to cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery.
• Knowledge of warehouse management.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs.
• Commitment to excellent attendance.
• Flexibility to work mandatory overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities during shift, including loadout prep, inventory control, cutting, replenishment, order verification, picking, and returned inventory processing.
• Lead shift in completing all warehouse cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery is in operational status and only operated by qualified associates.
• Become certified as a Distribution Center trainer.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Become trained and certified in forklift, carpet-cutting machine, and compactor.
