Empire Today in Northlake, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate for Distribution Center 1st Shift to perform daily warehouse tasks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving/unloading shipments, cycle counts, picking and staging goods, and daily housekeeping; operate forklift with certification and conduct safety checks.

Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; prior warehouse experience and knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred; able to lift 50–75 lbs;

Responsibilities

• Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Pick, cut and stage goods as needed.
• Operate forklift with certification and conduct safety checks.
• Maintain daily building cleanliness and upkeep.
• Complete payroll activities and training as required.
• Regular audits for safety and cleanliness.
