Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3 pm-11 pm). Base pay is $21.50 per hour, plus $1.25 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift.

Duties include training to operate forklifts, filling orders, staging products for shipment, and building crates for transport. This full-time role emphasizes safety and efficiency; you will perform daily equipment checks, maintain timecards, and participate in plant safety programs.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience as Warehouse Associate 1 or similar.
• Understanding of distribution processes and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 86 lbs repeatedly and 87–100 lbs with team lift.
• Detail oriented with good communication; able to read numbers.
• Able to operate a multi-directional forklift safely.
• Valid driver’s license or medical clearance for driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Train to operate motorized equipment safely.
• Correctly fill orders from inventory.
• Stage product for shipment.
• Build crates from wooden materials.
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate timecards and participate in safety programs.
• Attend staff meetings with Distribution Supervisor.
