Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. in Anoka, MN is hiring for a 2nd Shift Part Time Warehouse Pick Pack position. Entry-level role focusing on accurate picking and packing of customer orders in a highly automated distribution center.

This evening shift runs 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Wednesday. The job requires lifting up to 40 lbs, ability to use scanners, and adherence to safety and Good Distribution Practices to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent is desired.
• Ability to work flexible schedule with occasional overtime and/or weekend hours for part-time shifts.
• Prior shipping experience desired.
• Ability to use stairs to work on a second level of the shipping floor.
• Ability to lift, push/pull up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, or reach above the shoulders and below the knees in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and check orders to ensure quality and timely processing.
• Operate integrated warehouse systems including handheld barcode scanners.
• Achieve individual performance standards.
• Observe inventory levels to prevent product shortages.
• Use and understand Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ensure safety and quality through Good Distribution Practices that include maintaining cleanliness and prevent contamination while handling/packing food and food contact products.
• Report food safety concerns to Warehouse Management, SQF Practitioner or HR. If open food product is found, set it aside and immediately notify Warehouse Management or the SQF Practitioner for disposal.
• Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
