Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator III for the 2nd shift in York, SC. You will lead shipping and packaging activities on the shop floor, monitor workflow, and ensure on-time dispatch of outbound loads while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, transportation, and compliance teams to optimize operations, reduce risk, and support customer commitments. Must be able to respond quickly to issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or completion of secondary education
• Two-year university degree in Business, Engineering or relevant field preferred
• Licensing may be required for export controls or sanctions regulations
• Significant relevant work experience in logistics, warehousing or 3PL management

Responsibilities

• Review outstanding tasks and unresolved issues from the previous shift to ensure completion
• Serve as the floor lead for shipping and packaging activities and monitor workflow
• Monitor trailer availability, dock utilization, and loading/unloading to maintain efficient product flow
• Coordinate preparation, packaging, staging and shipment of outbound loads per customer and facility requirements
• Identify delays or issues affecting transportation schedules and escalate when needed
