Job summary

BlueStar is seeking an Assistant Manager for our 2nd Shift Warehouse operations. You will help oversee daily pick/pack/ship activities, coordinate staff, and ensure accuracy and on-time order fulfillment.

You will train teammates, enforce safety policies, and drive improvements in inventory control, security, and facility upkeep. This role requires leadership, organization, and hands-on problem solving, with the manager available for guidance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience leading and managing in a team environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Oracle knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to train others.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and make decisions in daily warehouse operations.
• Assist and manages all personnel to ensure they are trained and accurate.
• Assist in inventory accuracy functions and cycle counts.
• Identify and suggest improvements to warehouse processes for cost reductions, service, productivity and safety.
• Assist in security and access controls for the facility.
• Monitor maintenance and procurement of supplies.
• Promote a safe work environment and uphold safety policies.
• Serve as lead when the Manager is out of the building.
• Assist in training and supervising the employee base.
