Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience.
• 3+ years warehouse experience.
• Understanding of shipping/receiving processes.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on standard practices.
• Ability to read shipping/receiving records and production schedules.
• Strong leadership in a team-based culture.
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• RF/barcode scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Assure labor is distributed evenly to process orders efficiently.
• Complete daily work zone schedules and organize overtime crews when required.
• Ensure material received and shipped meets quality specifications.
• Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff.
• Maintain high level of communication with management, peers and subordinates.
• Conduct shift start up meetings and weekly updates.
• Oversee training for new hires and ongoing development.
• Manage shipping/receiving decisions and delegate as needed.
• Observe and evaluate warehouse processes and personnel.
• Schedule vacations and manage attendance.
• Maintain accurate records and employee files.
• Lead by example and ensure DOT/compliance for outbound loads.
• Coordinate with production for shipping needs.
• Assist with hiring decisions and performance evaluations.
• Ensure safety policies and GMPs in SQF program.
