Job summary

Sonepar USA Inc in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift. This full-time role pays $21.50–$26.50 per hour, with a benefits package and incentive opportunities based on performance.

You will load/unload trucks, count and record items, scan barcodes, and prepare shipments. Training is provided, and safety is our priority in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Stand/walk for most of shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and handheld scanning device.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/materials safely with equipment provided.
• Count, check and record items incoming/outgoing.
• Use handheld scanners to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack and palletize materials for delivery or storage.
• Maintain organization and safety in the warehouse.

Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Job type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday (2nd shift)

Hourly pay: $21.50 - $26.50/hr (pay increases in range with warehouse experience brought to role)

Compensation for this position includes hourly pay, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

What You\'ll Do

As a warehouse associate, you\'re key to driving a great customer experience by getting products from our warehouse to our customers. As orders come in, you help fill them accurately by finding the right products and getting them packaged and onto our trucks. You\'ll work in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

You will...

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts,or other device (no experience required - we provide training)
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage
• Help us keep products free from damage and organized
• Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure

What You Bring

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, or up to 75 lbs. with the assistance of supportive equipment or team members
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)

• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (we provide training)
• Ability to work in various temperatures within our warehouse
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
