Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Aurora, IL. The role oversees staff, ensures accurate orders, and drives safe, efficient production in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Responsibilities include coaching, hiring involvement, monitoring operational data, optimizing inventory and coordinating with buyers to prevent shortages. Strong leadership and knowledge of OSHA/HACCP are expected.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years warehouse distribution and 2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills; broad warehouse knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift staff for safe and efficient product preparation and order accuracy.
• Coach and counsel associates; participate in interviewing, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Monitor productivity reports, mis-picks and adjust processes to meet rate standards.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate with shipping, receiving and buyers on shortages.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance; issue work orders as needed.
• Prepare reports and assist in cost control and efficiency improvements.
