Job summary

Westlake is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor for our Garland, TX facility to lead a 2nd shift team and maintain a safe, productive environment. You will direct shift leaders, coordinate with customer service, and drive KPI performance in safety, inventory accuracy, on-time shipping, and quality.

This onsite role requires forklift experience, strong data analytics, and proven leadership to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement across all warehouse functions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with some post-secondary education.
• 3+ years prior supervisor or leadership experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP (recommended), RF scanning technology, Microsoft Office applications (Excel), and data reporting tools.
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
• Experience with change management, results driven and safety driven.
• Lean Six Sigma and/or 5S experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a culture of safety through observation, coaching, incident investigation, corrective actions, and adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Sets the tone and expectations for daily activities using strong leadership skills and proper utilization of shift group leaders.
• Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations.
• Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
• Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
