Job summary

Schweid & Sons in College Park, GA seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities for a 2nd shift team. You will direct associates in receiving, warehousing, and shipping to meet service and cost goals, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead a 10-person hourly team, plan schedules, and drive labor efficiency with focus on inventory control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education; college degree preferred.
• 7+ years in manufacturing, with food/beverage experience.
• 3+ years supervising hourly associates in a manual/batch environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise warehouse activities to meet service and cost objectives.
• Plan work schedules and manage dock deliveries and labor efficiency.
• Lead inventory tasks: cycle counts and periodic physical counts.
• Supervise a team of 10 hourly associates.
• Ensure high-quality shipping and a safe, hygienic environment.
• Train associates on procedures and forklift operation.
• Support continuous improvement ideas.
