Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd Shift to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include directing daily operations (order selection, shipping, receiving, inventory movement) and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. 3–5 years of supervisory experience and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, or similar operations.
• Experience leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Experience handling employee relations, coaching, performance management, interviewing, and hiring.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
• Experience leading teams through operational or organizational change, preferred.
• Must be able to work Sundays–Thursdays with a 3:00pm–5:00pm start time.
• Able to operate warehouse equipment safely and promote safe work practices.
• Able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals.
• Foster accountability by providing regular coaching and performance feedback.
• Direct daily warehouse operations including order selection, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
• Interview, assess, and participate in hiring and onboarding of warehouse associates.
• Train and develop employees and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead the team through operational changes while maintaining engagement.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment and ensure OSHA/compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
