Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd Shift to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include directing daily operations (order selection, shipping, receiving, inventory movement) and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. 3–5 years of supervisory experience and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, or similar operations.
• Experience leading teams of 15+ employees.
• Experience handling employee relations, coaching, performance management, interviewing, and hiring.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
• Experience leading teams through operational or organizational change, preferred.
• Must be able to work Sundays–Thursdays with a 3:00pm–5:00pm start time.
• Able to operate warehouse equipment safely and promote safe work practices.
• Able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment and ensure OSHA/compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Supervisor – 2nd Shift

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our 2nd Shift warehouse team. This role is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team while ensuring a safe, productive, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who can build engaged teams, hold employees accountable, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift

Sunday-Thursday, start time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, ending approximately 1:00am (average) based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to achieve operational goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability by providing regular coaching, performance feedback, and addressing employee performance and attendance issues when needed.
• Direct daily warehouse operations, including order selection, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement to meet productivity, quality, and service expectations.
• Interview, assess, and participate in the hiring and onboarding of warehouse associates.
• Train and develop employees while identifying opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and accuracy while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead the team through operational changes while maintaining employee engagement and performance.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, safe equipment operation, and proactive safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 -5 years of supervisory experience leading warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar operations.
• Experience leading teams of 15 or more employees.
• Demonstrated experience handling employee relations, coaching, performance management, interviewing, and hiring.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferred.
• Experience leading teams through operational or organizational change, preferred.
• Must be able to work assigned hours, Sunday-Thursday with a start time between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and promote safe work practices.
• Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking.
