Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) in Romeoville, IL. You will support leadership in guiding the distribution team to safe, efficient operations and accurate on-time order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Warehousing/ Distribution/ Supply Chain environment.
• Forklift driving experience/certification
• Ability to use RFT, Warehouse Management System, Badge related systems and other warehouse systems as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Sandvik policies, SOPs, safety and environmental practices.
• Operates MHE safely and uses tools and materials as required.
• Monitor and drive operations performance and quality.
• Manage resources and workflow decisions.
• Assist employees with operational issues to resolve them.
• Collaborate with team leads to improve warehouse performance.
• Perform Value Added Service (VAS) on customer orders.
• Report non-conformances and ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain department communications and housekeeping.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
