Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Decorah, IA is seeking a Warehouse Lead on 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to support shipping, packaging, sorting and bagging operations. This role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and focuses on ensuring on-time customer shipments and efficient warehouse workflows.

The ideal candidate will supervise and train staff, coordinate with freight vendors, maintain 5S and safety standards, and ensure accurate paperwork. A high school diploma/GED and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Human relations skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Basic math skills.
• Good leadership skills.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Direct, train and assist warehouse staff to ensure on-time customer shipments.
• Serve as primary customer contact at the warehouse facility.
• Prioritize activities to maximize efficiency.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report to the supervisor.
• Coordinate shipments with freight vendors.
• Ensure shipping paperwork is properly completed.
