Job summary

RJ Schinner Co. is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor in Grand Prairie, TX for a full-time role. The position oversees the 2nd shift, ensuring accurate picking, shipments and safe handling, reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

Key responsibilities include staff supervision, training, performance monitoring, and enforcing safety procedures while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years warehouse operations experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of inventory control and SKU management experience.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Able to perform light to heavy physical tasks; lift 50 lbs safely.
• Collaborates with all levels within the organization.
• Proficiently operates powered industrial trucks.
• Exposure to heat/cold, noise, dust; Heights 25’-30’.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Ensures accuracy and documentation of all outbound shipments.
• Performs operations and safety checks on all powered industrial trucks.
• Promotes and enforces workplace safety procedures and measures for department/branch.
• Provides training on processes and procedures for 2nd shift employees.
• Communicates business plans and departmental goals and objectives.
• Other duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
