Job summary

nVent is hiring for a full-time Logistics Material Handler on the 2nd shift in New Berlin, WI. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a $3.00 per hour shift premium.

The role involves moving and cycling inventory, operating forklifts, and supporting safe, accurate warehouse operations. The successful candidate will perform inventory counts, conduct 5S tasks, and work with the team to meet productivity standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year Distribution Center experience required.
• Ability to operate a forklift and perform daily lift inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and counting accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling tasks including pick locations, inbound putaway, and inventory cycle counting.
• Complete forklift certification and operate lifts safely per policy.
• Prepare pallets for put away and replenishment per standard work.
• Meet productivity rates for each task and report barriers to leads.
• Assist with order picking as needed to support warehouse operations.
