Job summary

Perishables Distributors of Iowa - PDI, a Hy-Vee subsidiary, is hiring full-time Warehouse Generalists for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will manage product life cycle from receiving to shipping, using standard warehousing practices and RF equipment, while maintaining safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities include selecting, palletizing, wrapping, and staging product for loading. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and complying with company policies and quality

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and move 25–50 pounds frequently.
• Must read and speak English.
• Experience with RF scanning and pallet jack operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming loads, verify against invoices.
• Operate stand-up rider pallet jack and forklift per training.
• Select, palletize, wrap, and stage products for shipment.
• Maintain sanitation and safety, follow temperature guidelines.
• Maintain accurate receiving paperwork.
