Job summary

PDI, a Hy-Vee subsidiary, is expanding its warehouse team and seeks a Warehouse Generalist for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will handle inbound/outbound processes, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure product safety and accuracy.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift heavy loads, and the ability to read and speak English. Pre-employment screenings are required, and we offer a team-focused, drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen, lifting, hearing test and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Select and move product to pallets, ensuring integrity and proper labeling.
• Unload and receive shipments; verify with invoices and paperwork.
• Meet productivity and quality standards; follow temperature guidelines for perishable goods.
• Maintain housekeeping and sanitation in the warehouse.
