Job summary

Perishables Distributors of Iowa - PDI is seeking full-time Warehouse Generalists for 2nd and 3rd shift. The role covers the full product life cycle from receiving to shipping using standard warehousing and customer service practices.

Expect heavy lifting, operation of forklift and pallet jack, and adherence to safety rules in a refrigerated/dry warehouse environment with 35 to -8 degrees. 1 year warehouse experience preferred; EOE.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform heavy lifting and sustain physical requirements.
• Industrial forklift and pallet jack license or experience required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred; high school education or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical requirements and lift 50–100 lb occasionally and 25–50 lb frequently.
• Receive, unload, store, pick, and ship products following procedures.
• Operate stand-up rider pallet jack, forklift, and RF unit with accuracy.
• Build pallets, stretch wrap, label, and stage product for loading with care.
