Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Technician (2nd shift) in Bolingbrook, IL to maintain and repair plant equipment and packaging/ conveyor systems. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and completing preventative maintenance in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of warehouse maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 or more years of warehouse maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math, measuring and computer skills
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and bend, reach, and stand for long periods
• Read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all plant equipment and machinery
• Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical problems as they occur
• Complete all preventative maintenance activities in a timely manner
• Maintain material handling systems such as conveyors and sortation equipment
• Maintain battery-powered equipment
• Maintain building and grounds
• Assist and perform semi-skilled tasks in maintenance, repair, and construction for building upkeep
• Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned
