Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Technician to maintain pallet jacks, high lifts, forklifts, and batteries to ensure reliable day and night warehouse operations. The full-time role requires mechanical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate repair logs.

Work schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 6pm–3am, with a pay rate of $30 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. This position supports efficient shipping and receiving of products and contributes to a safe work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; mechanic training preferred.
• Six months of prior mechanic experience required.
• Knowledge of equipment repair and operation; ability to read/write; basic math skills.
• Follows safety guidelines and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on pallet jacks, high lifts, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Review equipment reports, log actions/repairs, and maintain PM logs.
• Maintain battery charging area and secure batteries and tools.
• Comply with safety policies and government guidelines while working on equipment.
• Perform light maintenance tasks as assigned (bulbs, painting, racks).
