Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in Suffern, NY is seeking a 2nd Shift Distribution Associate. Schedule: 12pm–8:30pm, Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, $21.00 hourly.

Responsibilities include unloading goods, staging, palletizing, loading trailers, and ensuring accurate, timely shipments. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; ability to work in a team; safety-conscious operation of equipment; physical stamina for lifting and moving goods; good listening skills and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work well with others and function in a team environment.
• Safely operate all required equipment.
• Must be able to move extremities and the spine through a functional range of motion for material handling.
• Must have sufficient strength for tasks in multiple positions from floor to overhead.
• Reaching, handling and fingering capabilities for palletized goods.

Responsibilities

• Unload case goods, bedding and/or upholstered furniture using a two-wheel hand cart and second person assistance when needed.
• Stage and load/unload products for shipping or storage in the warehouse.
• Palletize product and box product when necessary.
• Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product and place incoming product into warehouse racks.
• Retrieve product from aisle racks and load trailer as per load sheet.
• Meet established product rates and accuracy standards while working with team.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and safety while performing duties.
