Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan in Suffern, NY is hiring a Warehouse Associate. The role pays $20.00 per hour and follows a 9:30am–8:00pm Friday through Monday schedule. You’ll help move furniture from trailers, prepare items for assembly, and assist customers as they turn houses into homes.

Safety comes first. You may pursue certification on material handling equipment and will lift up to 200 lbs, sometimes at heights of 30–40 feet. Prior experience with order pickers or pallet jacks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Commitment to Raymour & Flanigan's safety practices, promoting awareness, and maintaining a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to become certified on material handling equipment, including but not limited to order pickers and electric pallet jacks.
• Routinely lift, lower, push, and pull furniture of all sizes up to and in excess of 200 lbs.
• Safely lift furniture while elevated on warehouse equipment at heights of 30-40 feet above ground.
• Experience operating an order picker, electric pallet jack, or an inventory scan gun is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture from trailers and prep items for assembly.
• Assist customers by moving items from the showroom to delivery areas.
• Move furniture safely around the warehouse following safety practices.
• Operate equipment and assist with inventory tasks as needed.
