Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a reliable warehouse associate for the Shipping department on the 2nd shift. You will perform demanding warehouse tasks, including picking and packing, operating Voice Directed Picking Equipment, and using forklifts and reach trucks to move materials for shipment.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work overtime onsite.

Qualifications

PIV experience with forklift, reach truck or order picker.
Previous warehouse experience.
Ability to perform repetitive hand manipulation.
Able to stand on concrete for entire shift and lift up to 75 pounds.
Maintain a clean work area and meet quality standards.
Cross-train on other jobs as required.
High school diploma / GED; college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including lifting and operating machinery.
Actively participate in safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and housekeeping improvements.
Pick, prepare and package materials for shipment.
Operate Voice Directed Picking Equipment.
Operate forklifts and reach trucks up to 24 feet in height.
Work with various equipment around the work area safely.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisor.
Ability to work overtime when needed.
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
