Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Las Vegas, NV is hiring for a Materials Receiving/Shipping role. You will receive, verify, and store incoming material, lift heavy items, and prepare shipments using forklifts and order pickers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement in daily operations. Candidates should be able to handle lifting requirements, operate automation and lifting equipment, and work a full onsite shift in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Unassisted, pull/push and slide over parts up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Stoop, bend, and twist frequently to complete tasks.
• Reach into 48 inch deep locations to pull or stock parts.
• Stand and/or walk continuously during shift.
• Operate Stand-up Reach Lifts and Order Picker to 24 feet height.
• Lift pallet units to 24 feet using equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick required quantity of material for processing.
• Prepare material for shipment and package for protection in transit.
• Stage material in proper location for shipment and/or loads on trailer.
• Audit storage locations for quantity accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate voice directed picking equipment.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (TOS).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
